In 2016, founder Sheila Partrat, then a 53-year-old professional and mother of three battled lifestyle-related issues in the family. Despite best efforts, and being an educator on the subject, sugar cravings, inflammation, declining immunity, and Sheila's recent diagnosis of prediabetes were 'on the menu'. Sheila sought a simple, effective food-based solution that wouldn't compromise taste or enjoyment.
